Enjoy candles safely.

ALEC's timer and self-closing lid are a convenience. They are not a replacement for supervision. Please follow the safety instructions included with your ALEC, along with these general candle safety basics:

• Never leave a burning candle unattended, and never fall asleep with a candle burning.
• Keep burning candles away from anything that can catch fire, such as curtains, bedding, books and decorations.
• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
• Place ALEC on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts.
• Only use jar candles that fit your ALEC size. Check the fit guide before you buy.
• Let the holder and candle cool completely before touching, moving, or cleaning.
